Green Smoothie

This super-charged smoothie is refreshing and makes you feel healthy, without sacrificing taste!  The green in the smoothie comes from spinach and green tea powder, the spinach flavor is masked by frozen bananas and strawberries.

Green Smoothie

Servings: 2


-1 cup drinking yogurt (apple or strawberry flavor)

-1/3 cup orange juice or apple juice

-1 large frozen banana (or 1/2 frozen banana plus 1/2 cup frozen mango or pineapple)

-1/2 cup frozen strawberries (3 large (Costco) or about 7-8 small berries (Home Plus))

-1 tsp green tea powder

-1 handful (~1 cup) cleaned spinach (pack it down in your blender, you can add as much or as little as you want)


1) In a blender, add the ingredients in the order they are listed.  Pulse, then blend for about 30 seconds until smooth.

Below are the ingredients used in this recipe. The green tea powder and yogurt can be found at your local mart or Home Plus.  The frozen strawberries can be found at Home Plus or Costco.
