Easy Bruschetta Sauce

This is a simple bruschetta-type sauce of tomatoes and basil which can be used as a dip, topping, or pasta/pizza sauce.

Easy Bruschetta Sauce

Servings: 6


-1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained

-2 Tbls balsamic vinegar

-1 Tbls olive oil

-1 1/2 tsp honey

-1 Tbls dried basil

-2 tsp dried oregano

-1-2 tsp minced garlic

-1/2 – 3/4 tsp salt (to taste)

-1/4 tsp pepper


For the bruschetta sauce:

1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.  Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.  Use on top of bread for traditional bruschetta or use as a dip or a sauce for .
